We all understand the importance of having ergonomic office furniture, but do we actually understand the reason we adjust certain parts?

We adjust the "Armrests" because as these support the arms, they will reduce the work of the shoulders and possibly the upper arms. Armrests can, however, be used inappropriately by inhibiting free motion of the arms during activities such as typing.
